You're in the right place to quickly get adventure ready with your Grayl UltraPress® Titanium Bottle.
GUIDE TO FIRST USE
The most versatile water purifier ever dreamt, let alone built! The world's first titanium filter bottle provides unparalleled strength to weight ratio and meets the most challenging rigors of the outdoors. It’s drink-mix ready (hello electrolytes) and the Outer Ti Cup can be used to heat water and cook food near a fire or on a camp stove.
PULL APART WITH EASE
Grasp the FlipCarry® Handle with one hand and the Outer Ti Cup with the other, then pull apart. A quick twist helps to initiate separation.
FILL WITH DIRTY WATER
Scoop from a stream or lake, or fill from any bathroom sink or rustic hostel tap.
VENT THE CAP
Twist the SimpleVent® cap a half-turn to allow air to vent during filtration & purification process.
PRESS TO FILTER & PURIFY
Twist the SimpleVent® cap 1/2 turn to allow air to vent during purification process. Utilizing your body weight, press with steady downward force.
Fast and easy; makes clean drinking water in 10 seconds - anywhere!
NOTE: Actual "press time" will vary depending on water quality, cartridge lifespan, water temperature, and user ability.
ON FIRE
Use your multi-purpose UltraPress® Outer Ti Cup to heat water and cook food alongside hot coals or near a direct flame. Always utilize the butterfly handles around heat and adequately protect your hands with leather or heat-safe gloves or tools.
WARNING: Titanium will burn your hands when hot! Handle with extreme caution and always use a set of tongs, improvised tool (aka stick), and/or leather gloves when handling hot metal.
ON CAMP STOVE
Use with a backpacking stove to boil water for meals or hot beverages. The Outer Ti Cup can be heated to very hot temperatures. Use handles when placing or removing from camp stove.
WARNING: Titanium (including the handles) will burn your hands when hot! Remove from camp stove with caution and use leather heat-safe gloves or other suitable protection. Never directly touch a hot Outer Ti Cup and only use with stoves that have a small platform and level supported base.
FILLING FROM ABOVE
Sometimes getting to the river's edge is not an option. You may be stuck needing water from above, or fishing for a scoop. Tie paracord to the D-Ring on the Outer Ti Cup and drop to fill.
